I agree completely. I raised my kids in a business and we had "family travel" and "business travel" and I would NEVER have allowed my kids to USE the lounge like the rug-rats I have seen the past two years. Even during "business travel" if I took them they had room service and my husband and I enjoyed the exclusivity of the concierge club. We always PAID for the privelage...and now that we have status and upgrade-ability, there are few lounges left and fewer "quiet moments" over a business drink or breakfast. This is probably a result of the point-programs (which we actively participate in) and a natural by-product of easier-to-earn status.
