Outstanding trip report! I'm looking forward to the day when I can stay in the property.

By happenstance, over the MLK weekend I met a gentleman in Vail from Barclays Capital who has been intimately involved in overseeing the Four Seasons since they took over the project late in '09. He said they have been limiting occupancy to the 50 - 60% range in order to work out all of the kinks as they start-up. He said a positive guest experience is critical in order to generate positive buzz. He also said there have been problems with the pool as you noted, as well as hot water in the guest rooms. Overall though, he said the opening has gone as smoothly as they could hope. Your report certainly corroborates his comments.

Thanks again for posting such a great trip report!
