I finally purchased my ticket to fly DFW-LAX-AKL-SYD.

Will I need to pick up my checked luggage at LAX from United and carry them over to Terminal 2 (Air New Zealand)? Or will they automatically be interlined and transfer automatically from UA to NZ?
