We're plats and stay at the Paloma from time to time. I always mean to try the restaurant but we always end up going to Cafe Terra Cotta, a few blocks away. It is one of my favorite restaurants in the world. I hear Janos at the Paloma is very good, but doubt it would come close to Terra Cotta for our palettes. Highest we've gotten is the huge suites (resort I guess) with the hot tub on the patio, barbecue, catering entrance, bathroom with very nice family jacuzzi, etc. That is what we like. We're always treated well! Do ask for an upgrade and ask what kind of suite you're in. We've never been denied a suite, but most have been so-so. I really don't care about just having a parlor room that much compared to having the hot tub and stuff! Location does make a big difference at this hotel. Enjoy! Oh, and you're out in BFE with no stores around so if you are going to get a resort suite and go hot tubbing or sauna definitely buy some water bottles somewhere (DO NOT drink Tucson tap water) before you get close to the hotel.
