We were talking about Airbii, and he, in fact, is the one who made the comment that the pilot can only "make suggestions" (HIS WORDS) on the control of the aircraft, and he didn't care much for that. He did like flying the aircraft from an ergonomic perspective, but he was very definite that the PIC is not the "final authority" on Delta Airbii.
welp he's wrong...I suggest you research the crash at the Paris Airshow or the NTSB records...it's been widely reported DL pilots have had to take control and override the software on the 33x's to prevent a crash (not suggest but override as the software was receiving incorrect information)....the DL Pilot clearly wasn't rated on an Airbus let alone a 33x
