You are correct on all counts. Usually, I don't make any choice. I've pushed the "greatly satisfied" button once, after receiving my documents back. I was rewarded with a warm smile and a, "thank you." I'll also note that I've never been treated any way but professional and courteously by immigrations on my many trips to China. I wish I could say the same for our own Immigration/DHS people.
