Yep. You simply accrue Starwood points and then via the Starwood website, transfer those points (or really convert them) to Skywards Miles (which you can then redeem for flights, upgrades etc). You obviously need to be a member of Skywards.

So if you accrue 20,000 Starwood points, this will transfer to 20,000 Skywards Miles.

You'll also find that if you transfer 20,000 points at once, Starwood will add another 5000, meaning you actually receive 25,000 miles.
