I've been getting this message more and more lately. Just got it for flt 6669 on 1/31/11 - that's 6 days out.

Yeah, the flight is full, but why bother putting this annoying message up? If I could see the seat map and see there's no seats available, I can kinda put two and two together and figure out I can't change my seat.
