Durham Marriott May Change Owners
From today's Durham Hearld Sun:

The convention center's present operator, Shaner Hotels, also owns the downtown Marriott. Shaner Hotels and Marriott Inc. are separate companies. Shaner's argued that a management change could jeopardize the Marriott chain's willingness to attach its brand to the hotel.
