I was there 10 days ago for a repeat visit and found myself nearly swooning at this glorious retreat. At time of reservation (which I made with the hotel res office), they advised they were so lightly booked (9/11 week) that they were able to pre-assign me an oceanfront suite.

As for the worn areas .... I did hear some locals off-property making statements like that, but on site I saw nothing of the sort. This place is magical and I give it my very best recommendation. My experiences here have always been phenomenal as a Plat.
