No, SPG does not give this kind of incentive to cut out travel agents. SPG sometimes offers 1,000 mile bonuses for stays at Starwood that deposite directly into your AAdavantage account or whatever the promotion is for.
AA (for example) offers 500 or 1000 miles bonuses to book hotels through AA.com but these stays do not earn Starwood points as they are prepaid (opaque) bookings.
