I stayed at both during my trip. Phuket is better for a family and Krabi is better for couples. Phuket is a little boring and the location is not that great because the Laguna is a fair distance from the main beach. Krabi is extremely beautiful. Lots of places to go rock climbing. There is a great lagoon you can climb into near the property. Its truly worth going to at least once.
