Do CityJet still merge quiet flights on the day like VLM used to on a very frequent basis (from AMS, at least)? If so, I'd fly FR by choice - that practice gets on my nerves. I ended up changing from VLM to KLM for LCY-AMS for that reason, even though I vastly preferred VLM's semi-business-class service.
(FR aren't unknown to play the trick themselves, but it's usually well in advance - I haven't heard of them doing it on the day, largely because it would make a mess of their sometimes complicated scheduling).
