Does Starwood provide any incentive to book at spg.com? Am I penalized, in terms of cost/points, by going through my full-service travel agency?

For example, some of my airline programs give an extra 1,000 miles as an incentive to cut out the travel agent. Does SPG do this? BTW, I am signed up for Starwood Great Weeks, Grand Weekends and do not know if they prefer online reservations.

I searched the forum and couldn't find anything that directly addressed this.

Any ideas?
