Ouch! Yes, you could have used the OZ lounge and saved your money.
The HUB lounge is a Priority Pass. Actually there's quite a few Priority Pass lounges at ICN. In the main terminal, there's both HUB lounges, both Matina lounges, and the Asiana lounge. In the Concourse, there's the Asiana lounge and the KAL lounge. Note the KAL lounge in the main terminal is NOT a Priority Pass lounge.
For practical purposes, in the main terminal, the Asiana lounge is the only one of those listed that has showers. The "showers" near the HUB lounge are free, but the shower kit (towel, amenities) are not. So unless you brought your own stuff, it's not very practical. And it's "free" to everyone, not just those going to the HUB lounge. So going to the HUB lounge does absolutely nothing for you in helping to get a shower.
I actually didn't mind the food in the HUB lounge. If I just wanted a place to relax and grab a bite to eat, I'd actually prefer it to the Asiana lounge, being the Asiana lounge is often overcrowded, and last I checked, they don't have meals except during very limited meal hours, and the food is very quickly consumed by everyone and not replenished once it's gone. HUB replenishes the food continuously throughout the day. HUB is never crowded that I've seen it. So if there was no cost to either (ie. free Priority Pass), and I didn't need a shower, I'd choose HUB. If I needed to pay, or needed a shower, I'd choose the OZ lounge. Under no circumstances would I choose the Matina lounge, being it has no showers and not a good selection of food, in my opinion. But being everyone's different, you ought to check it out first if making a decision. They're all located nearby each other.
