So I stayed at this hotel over the weekend for the second time. I thought it was very nice, considering the hotel is very old and was renovated.

The staff were very nice and helpful and welcoming.

I stayed here last year when I was Gold, and it was nice they gave me a couple of bottled water and some chocolate, eye mask/cover and "fabreze type spray" but no room upgrade (not expected but they said sometimes they do depending on the season).

This time I was Platinum and WOW! They treat Plat very well! I'd say!

I booked the traditional room and somehow how I got the 2 bedroom suite @ the top floor. Initially I didn't really think they put me to a suite. Mind you being a very old hotel I didn't expect much. The view was great but not awesome, the corner would be awesome! 12th floor is their top floor but the 11th seems to be better because it has a balcony!!! When I was on the 12th I checked and it looked like they have this small covered boxes. I asked the front desk what it was and it was a jacuzzi!!! But they will be removing it because it kept breaking down! that would have been awesome for winter!

One last thing, they gave me a red wine with the letter welcoming me and stuff also if I prefer white they were going to exchange it, which I personally prefer white... But the cork oppener they had was crappy! I couldn't even open the cork with it, since you need to use your strength to pull it out! It didn't have those lever to help you pull the cork.
