We just returned from the GH Bali...

We too have stayed many times at this hotel, and although the shine is a bit faded, we wouldn't stay anywhere else due to its fond memories.

Suites can be in any of the villages on the property, with various views. In our experience, they will put diamonds in non-RC villages if that is a better suite. Since you're a repeat guest, I'd mention that and ask that you be kept to the RC villages (or south village if RC is unavailable). If you have a location/room you've liked in the past, ask them to make a note in your rez. FYI for your guests... all suites include RC access, regardless of hyatt status.

The RC lounge has limited evening cocktail hours (5-7) but they have expanded their bfast offering with a couple hot egg/side dishes.

We also liked Joy, but when asking for him, were told he left a couple years ago. They were training some new RC staff so service was a bit inconsistent.

Lots of good food options nearby and a short taxi ride away.
