It's not supposed to despite many threads to the contrary. I was turned away at the door last time I tried. I like that lounge and am *G so I actually switched from the aeroplatinum to the regular platinum. The only benefit I lost was MLL access and priority check in but already had the AC lounge and check bags in only when travelling > 5 days. The reg platinum also has the concierge service which is a great benefit.

So, short answer is no. Consider the switch unless you are not *G. And besides, MLL in YYZ is just n the other side of the security.
