The ones bought in advance do not (other than Megatrain and possibly the print-your-own ones) - they have the purchaser's name on them. This need not be the traveller, and no ID is required.
UK train tickets must be used by the person *for whom* they were purchased, and you are never asked for that name when buying from any "railway" sales channel. I've never bought a train ticket from a travel agent, nor can I think of any reason I ever would, barring anything like company policy I suppose.
