I presume this is just a strange seatmap problem at not an aircraft change?
I would post a screen shot, but after playing with my iPod I've accidently generated a boarding pass, and thus can't view the seatmap

I know this is a little late, but for future reference: Yes it is a glitch. I had the 777-300 coming back from ORD 2 weeks ago and the same thing happened to me. So be aware that it is a 3-3-3 arrangement and not a 2-4-3.
