So, I booked a MR on CO which got delayed significantly due to a mechanical issue. Rather than miss my return flight, they offered to rebook me. Not only did I get rebooked on a better day and on a better flight, but it was mistakenly (?) rebooked into B instead of L. I think this gets me 150% EQM, which is great.

I also noticed that on CO, B fares get an automatic upgrade to first. I figured out that I don't get this instant perk because I'm an elite in Mileage Plus and not OnePass. So I'm stuck in coach for now.

However, I am unsure how this affects my position in the upgrade hierarchy because I figure I still have some priority due to the better fare. Do I just have to wait until a few days before departure, and they'll upgrade me then after all the Y passengers? Or is that still a OnePass-only benefit? Clearly this integration thing is still in progress, so how many levels are there above me? CO's system confuses me.
