yes, you should report it, but most the premium passengers don't report it.
And KLM is not the only airline who does this alot, upgrading staff or friends when doors are closed.

Well, I travel extensively on lots of different airlines, from European carriers to ones from the far east to US carriers, and I've never noticeably observed it happening where as on KLM it's blatantly obvious.
