FA call button..

...response ratio.

In the past year or so the times I've pressed the call button MAYBE 2 - 10x were acknowledged by an FA. The other times I've had to flag the FA as they walk by me, after 1 or 2 have done so before them and it appears to be chore for them. I can understand when they are busy, need a break and whatever else you wish to insert here so I'd ignore one FA walking by, but this should not happen they are Customer Service Personnel and should tend to every px as called upon, unless it is unsafe.

What's triggered my post and shortly email/letter to Dl is the last FA's response: "We were tending to the Duty Free service".. I replied to her "Was that you chatting with you're fellow FA "in front of me"? On average I've waited for at least 15 minutes and 1 to 2 FA's walking by me before I say something. Also, I usually sit by the window and avoid getting up if the person next to me is sleeping, thus the need for the FA to come to me. To be honest that should not matter. Yes, this is in Economy in Biz/FC I've never pressed the button, since they are frequently checking the cabin.

On a side note does the px list note where FF's sit?
