I resemble that remark!

Thanks to that post I chuckle every time it's repeated.
There are far worse things I could be known for (and likely am known for!) than the guy who started people saying "Hi Jeff!" during the video.

But he is a bit creepy in that video. Not just the last line, but the effect of way-too-much contrast on those crappy old monitors. Now I'm trying to imagine what Vincent Price would look and sound like saying those lines.

That's the point. We're so familiar with that same piece that some of us can likely recite it line-by-line. So "Hi Jeff" is an expression of familiarity.
