sbtinme ,I guess you didn't read my post or maybe I wasn't clear enough."it took 2days to replace the shower gel". did I approach the front desk, what did you think I did sit in the tub till they brought a replacement DUH!! Over the 2 days at least 5 requests were made!!
As for the paper the samething at least 6 requests, was told that "we do not supply daily newspapers any more"!!!
What did I feel was proper for the hotel to do 1) refund me the $7 it cost me for buying the daily paper
2) refund me 1(YES 1) days rate for the hotel ( which is less than the 20% offer they made me)
3) put some(no # written) bonus points into my acct(by the way although I made the res on-line @ SPG I ONLY got credit for the stay once I faxed it into 'Missing Stay Dept', the hotel never sent in the credit.
Please bear in mind this hotel was overseas and not in the US.
Am I asking for the kitchen sink I do not think so and sblinme I do not know what is bothering you but I do not feel you would have felt any different than me. B4 you sound off get the facts!!! Not everyone on these boards are trying to RIP the carriers and hotels for all they can get.!!!!
