This thread is getting a little ridiculous. I spend about 200 nights a year in hotel rooms and have never waited to "see what the GM was going to do for me" since my soap wasn't replinished! Good grief!

Now, if you requested from guest services that it be replaced as soon as you noticed it had not been --- and they still didn't ---why didn't you call again? In my wildest imaginations, I just can't accept that they wouldn't. And, if you didn't get your paper at the door, did you call the front desk to request that one be brought up to you. I do these things all the time.

I get weary of reading these threads where, collectively, we consumers are increasingly jockying for the absolute most for the absolute least cost. If we don't get a feather pillow for our $55 Four Points room in Des Moines, we demand 20,000 Starwood points, etc. C'mon, folks.
