TSA had removed the toner cartridge from the printer we travel with. I had thought we were safe and that the 16 oz. rule applied to the contents of the cartridge, rather than the entire assembly. Apparently I'm wrong. We flew with printers in December without problems, so I assumed I was correct. The kids each paid hundreds of dollars to attend this competition, and now they are handicapped by the TSA. And no, I will not have a chance to buy toner before they're supposed to debate.
