With four nights, you could certainly do Hanoi + Ha Long bay, or Hanoi + Saigon, or even all 3. It appeared to be three nights (4 days including arr/dep) at post #4.

From memory, Thai have evening departures from both HAN and SGN which would connect with a midnight departure from BKK.

So my itin at #2 would fit.
