Last weekend the floor was covered in carpet, and everything on the groundfloor other than reception, conceirge, and Theos was behind (tasteful) boarding.

Two of the lifts had been renovated. The other two were working but unrenovated (and I hate to say it, looked better imho - the dark metal in the lift looks a bit strange with the new lighter leather).

Other than a smaller lobby area and no open bar, everything was fine - it had no impact on our stay whatsoever
