and received a club terrace suite which is a normal hotel room plus large balcony on the beach. also club drinks 6-8. you sign for a $0 check

many nice cocktails available_IF you can get a waiter to take the order as they are very slack.
you have to go to the bar to get any service.

Both times I have been here I have been given 8pm checkout with no probs.
this is a huge plus
the Hilton would not let me stay past 3pm

the weather has been great and the hotel is pretty full.
I can see what you are all saying re the beach
The floor of the ocean has millions of shells and broken coral.

but up the right end the beach outside the pool is a lot better.

I still like this hotel better than the hilton-if you can cop the slack service and the high prices
the hotel has become very run down in the last 2 yrs
when I was here in jan 09 the hotel was new and very georgeous.
the sawn sandstone paths and steps now have lots of marks and a lot are broken.

Had I not seen it in pristine condition i wouldnt know any different.
