Should anyone care, NZ's station manager at HKG had my iPad in his safe all week and met me at check in to hand it over personally! ^
They had tried to call me but reception was patchy in China so I'd not got the calls.
Great service yet again from NZ - they are now my favourite airline.
My huband left his iTouch in his seat pocket on a flight from Christchurch to Melbourne 2 weeks ago. It was a couple of days before he even realised. We assumed that there was no way we would get it back (sad that our automatic response is that there are dishonest people out there) but thought it might be worth a phone call. When he phoned it was immediately confirmed that it was waiting for him at the airport. Luckily we were due at the airport the next day to fly up to Sydney so collection was easy. ^ for NZ!
