I just received 15k from an asian property.

I fell on the slippery bathroom floor. You may laugh or not, but the night manager arrived to see the swollen foot. Straight to bed, foot high, ice, and later bandage.

Considering wheel chair for connecting flight, but got enough help to move around. Had doctor at later Hyatt, almost 150$ bill, which was paid by insurance. 6 weeks to fully recover.

There is a bathtub by the window, shower and slippery floor inside, then the basins and finally the toilet.

On way from toilet to bathtub I slipped.

I suggested (in a true American way) signs of slippery floor, rubber mat on floor, or tiles with edgy surface. Water from shower makes floor right next to tub very slippery.

After this they started notifying the clients in these rooms, and have decided to change the tiles.

I did not demand anything specific, but after they offered a suite upgrade on next stay, I countered with a points request at their decision ( as I said I have no plans within the near future to return to the country).

Also some e-mails got lost, as people quit at the hotel.

All in all, Im very happy with Hyatt- again^
