I've never really considered Easter a major national travel holiday in the U.S. (I traveled in Italy once during this period - that's another story!!)
Those "spring break" type holidays seem to be a rolling schedule from about mid-Feb to late-March. I always thought they peaked around mid-March, with easterners a little early and westerners a little later.
