+1 : SLOW lounges are fantastic and I was very impressed. I place them halfway between LHR Galleries and the usual Terraces, personally, in terms of quality.
On the subject of self-service, you can get beers from the fridge, but if memory serves (and after a few bottles, it didn't!) for wine and spirits you have to go and ask the barman.
The SLOW lounge at CPT, however, had wine on tap!
