The curses are actually quite similar on UA and LH: the decrepit 747s have no IFE and hence are to be avoided at all cost. That is if you are in coach, in Biz, UA has at least modern seats if you don't mind a frail, old, unsafe plane.
..By the other hand, It's possible to fly from MUC in a A346, with IFE and free alcohol

? On UA try to stick to the 767s and 777s.
