did you file a claim? there is a good chance the airport you checked your bag into has video in locations that TSA looks into bags. Even at 100% screening very few bags are touched by a TSA staff member other than moving them in and out of a machine (unless the machine tells them to look into them). At the same time the airlines also touch a lot of the bags. Suprisingly a lot of them hire low wage sub contractors to move and handle bags. Good chance they have your stuff.
