status and airline are both important

This has happened to me when I was a non-status pax. Now that I am 1k, it rarely happens to me, even though sometimes it does.

The airline also has a lot to do with it, especially with equipment changes. UA is pretty good about keeping seats once you've reserved them. I'm very happy with UA. ^
