Yes, but at what cost? Accruing MQM's is not the holy grail. Why would I pay $800 for a flight to Anchorage just to accrue MQM when I can use 17K MR points that I transferred last month to DL to get 25K DL miles (50% bonus at the time) and use those miles? I can save the $800 and do 5-8 transcontinental MR flights and earn way more MQM's if I want/need them.

It all comes back to what I said earlier - what is best FOR YOU. Each person's situation is different.
