These are outdoor platforms or just ground-level sidewalks with no gates, barriers, and entrances, in many cases. There are no train personnel on the platform, no ticket windows, and since TSA has no authority to detain me. They would pretty much have to let me get on the train. Just as the TSA has no authority to stop
you from boarding, there's nothing stopping
them from boarding either and then having a little chat with the conductor about the scope of the TSA's authority. At that point, it's anyone's guess whether the conductor will succumb to TSA pressure, persuade you to submit to TSA inspection, order you to get off at the next stop or call local LEOs to meet the train elsewhere.
So what's Plan B?
