Most of the time I would watch loads and make a decision whether to upgrade in advance of the 48 hours with certs or get the "freebie" within 48 hours (or get a different flight). I don't think that will change under the new system. Just hope that recrediting happens as quickly as debiting
It should work better than before. You can now confirm your u/g in advance with credits, then cancel it if there's still J space at 48 hrs (as long as there's still B space!)
