We are still deciding where to stay, and it looks like the HHV is out of the running, but the Halekulani has moved into the race. The only bad part is that the Halekulani is not a Starwood property.

Moana does sound great, and I am leaning that way. Mainly, I want to sit on the beach, and drink Mai Tais all day while going for an occassional swim. Actually, anything in Hawaii sounds better than the weather here in Chicago lately.

It seems that the Royal Hwawaiian has outstanding service, but from some of the more recent stays, people tend to think the Moana offers exceptional service as well.

I will post where I stay and the details of our stay in a mini trip-report.
