I have about 75K American Express Membership Rewards points right now, and I'm considering using them to pay for a flight to Tokyo. A flight to from LAX to Tokyo costs 60K if I transfer to Delta miles. However, I also have some eCerts for Delta, including a few 10% off coupons. Can I use the eCerts or discount coupons to lower the total point cost of the Tokyo flight?
