bsaced, this is one of Hilton's timeshare properties (HGVC). Although I own points in HGVC, I never recommend buying directly from them. Resale prices are a fraction of the original ones and can be a great deal, depending on what your vacationing needs and preferences are. For example, my annual maintenance fee for 5,000 points is less than $1,000. For those points, I get 3+ weeks, most of which I use in Hawaii even though I own in Orlando. I don't remember what I paid upfront resale, but I got my money's worth in a couple of years.

Before you do anything, check out TUG, tugbbs.com, the bulletin board for timeshare owners, especially the Hilton forum. And never believe everything salespeople tell you; their figures don't add up.
