Are you still bent because your self-proclaimed "Keeper of other people's wallets and negotiable documents" position was turned down?

That worked fine, but then on subsequent backup attempts, it kept hitting a bad sector or some problem with a file it couldn't get past, so I was trying to fix that. chkdsk with the appropriate option can't fix it either, it just hangs on verifying some file. I can't fix that, so I probably need to replace the internal drive on that Sony FW, but for now, I just renamed the file with the bad spot to something.tmp and my backup program will skip any file named *.tmp, though windows backup won't, but it did tell me which file it was on, so that's how I know. It was a backup of a backup of old quicken data. But acronis does allow you to give it a list of patterns of filenames like *.tmp that it will skip, so I was able to fix up Acronis' backup data base, delete the partial backups, clean all that up and do another backup. Those backups take a long time when they are done, because they coalesce the incremental data into sets and get rid of the older sets at the end of the process and that part takes forever, and I did it umpteen times when I was trying to solve/workaround/figure out the problem and deal with it.
The last time I heard a story like that, I was paying $120 an hour for tech support...

For every 25,000 Butt-in-Seat classroom hours, the student will have the opportunity to book a round-trip domestic ticket. Students who misbehave will be required to have 40,000 BIS hours for the same itinerary, and must find their own award availability at delta.com

It does leave you open to the old "TSA confiscated and destroyed my homework" excuse.

I just read my email, and nearly had a stroke! Got the "delivery confirmation" from FedEx on the truck keys I sent to OGG, and it said "Item successfully delivered to TEMECULA, CA" which is almost where MrsBobSgt drove to ship it! Once I clicked through on the link, it was actually left at Makawao.
