Yep and 4 nights in Saigon or 4 nights in Hanoi would be fine... But it seems you're talking about 3 nights in Vietnam to include both and perhaps Ha Long bay.

Ha Long Bay is certainly picturesque. Perhaps you can google it - see if you really want to go there. But you won't really get much culture - some food on a boat, I suppose. It would take time. It's possible to go there by helicopter, but you'd still want a couple of hours on a boat.

If you skip Ha Long bay, then at a push you could do both Hanoi and Saigon.

Do you have any time about your arrival/departure times?
