Just be aware that Apr in Thailand/Cambodia is the hottest time of the year - and the traditional New Year (Songkran) can make travel difficult as many Thais travel regionally and flighst fill up, and airports can be packed and chaotic.
Roads can be chaos (and carnage) so be careful, and there is much throwing of water in celebration - fine the first time (or 2 or 3), but it can wear thin when living in Thailand and wanting to go out (or even to the 7/11). You can google the dates for Songkran in 2011.
