Incredible that my experiences with the new BOM lounge have been so different.

The lounge is small and always cramped. Nearly impossible to find seating except at the seating area by the buffets. Food selection is woeful and the platters are never refilled anyway. Sandwiches are invariably stale and the samosa selection reheated to the point of tastelessness. Half eaten plates of food and empty glasses are spread all over the lounge and the lazy staff never bother clearing them for hours on end.

Staff are surly and have absolutely no concern for passengers. They are more concerned about when their shift ends than dealing with requests. A request to please advise me 10 minutes before boarding commences so I could go to Duty Free was met with a response that "I won't be here then so you will have to ask somebody else later" rather than passing the message on to the next staff member on duty. No re-entry is permitted once you enter the lounge and they have scribbled whatever they do on your Boarding Pass, so God help you if you want to wander outside for any reason.

The lounge is a total disgrace to Emirates and I have given up using it, preferring to sit in the food court and then go directly to the boarding gate instead.
