Just to clarify here...would this just be for overlapping flights? OR would it be to or from the same destination in the same day. Seems like a silly question but on FT nothing seems out of the realm of the obsurd. IE a segment run between ANC-FAI-ANC then ANC-FAI-ANC again in the same day. Likewise on such runs between SEA/PDX on the same day. Flights that dont overlap or conflict in scheduling?
In my original post I had actually booked two "overlapping" flights between the same cities, but one had a connection and the other didn't. Neither flight was cancelled by AS, and I was able to execute my plan and cancel the flight I couldn't take. So maybe the answer to your question is... neither? Certainly I wouldn't expect a two r/ts between the same cities in the same day to be cancelled if they weren't overlapping.
