So I was planning on using my dad's Delta AmEx for this deal - but turns out he cancelled his Delta AmEx last year. Because I thought he still had it - I passed on the recent 45,000 bonus points offer - what a dope!

Now my choice is settle for the 25,000 offer if I want to use this trick - or just wait it out until a better one comes along. I'm guessing that 45,000 offer won't be happening again anytime soon.

Maybe I could find out if any of my friends have this card...
