I've only taken the TPE a few times, but the service was fine (on time, etc.) but very busy. You might find someone takes your seat even tho it says reserved, especially on weekends when people's tickets are more flexible, so they don't make the assumption that the person will certainly be there (but you can and should ask them to move if they do of course!)
